Never used the tram to Ostend. Was told it's cheaper than the train which is what I used last time. Is it right that you get a taxi from the zeebrugge port to the local tram stop and then get the tram to Ostend?

Re: P&O Ferries Ostend

yeah, the taxi driver lives very local to the port and is usally outside when the ship docks,he relies on the foot passengers for buisness, tram stop is only about a mile from port, but wouldn't recomend walking for safety reasons.

Re: P&O Ferries Ostend

Talking of local to the port, has anyone ever tried that place 2.5 miles outside the port on the road to Bruges?
Route 88 or similar I think it's called.
