Re: Nobody at Dover

Nothing much happenning lately - had two more, pretty uneventful, trips - one through theTunnel, coach was stopped at passport control, all out with our tobacco, ranks of uniformed Stasi to greet us, asked me if I had any baccy (yes), how much (4 kilo), when did I last travel (3 months earlier), no problem sir, have a nice day, and that was that.
Everyone got pretty much the same questions, three or four were pulled out for interview (all those who had travelled recently, last three or four weeks), all released afet ten minutes, all with their baccy (one was quite clearly a regular, said he had lost before and had travelled the previous week; UKBF said they suspected him of being a runner, he asked them if they had any proof and they said no, you can go if you are not going to admit anything!)
Overall, UKBF behaved perfectly, even letting the obvious runner go as they did not have the evidence to charge him!
Travelled through Dover last week, no sign of the Stasi anywhere, again.
Probably won't travel again until Christmas, hoping for more of the same!
