Hull/Zeebrugge cancelled yesterday

Due to tech reasons yesterday's round trip from Hull cancelled.

No info on P&O's useless website, just the odd comment on their Twitter feed. In fact the website is still showing details of April's Belgian national strike.

Come on P&O. Drag yourselves out of the steam powered 20th century before you self destruct!

Re: Hull/Zeebrugge cancelled yesterday

This is all I found on Google from the Hull Daily Mail yesterday"HOLIDAYMAKERS heading for a winter break on the continent could face cancellations after ferry trips from Hull were called off.The Pride of York, one of two vessels which travels from the city to the Belgian port of Zeebrugge, was taken out of service for repairs when a technical problem was discovered. It is now being fixed in a dry dock.It means only one ferry will be operating on the route. Voyages to Zeebrugge have been cancelled tomorrow, on Friday and on Sunday."
Haven't found any thing more on the subject and as you can see it doesn't say which dry dock!

In Rotterdam!  I wonder if they can do a bit of spit and polish while it's there...it needs it.

Re: Hull/Zeebrugge cancelled yesterday

Well she hasn't moved since the 8th so it must be a major problem. Or a Major refit.  You would have thought there was a relief ship they could use. They must be loosing pounds.

Staff at Hull told me something wrapped around the prop, broke it and the shaft.
