October update.

2 cases lost at different magistrates courts. Appeals pending.

One hearing turned into a complete farce due to interference from the Clerk of the court possibly due to the ''bosom buddy'' relationship with the barrister, something that cannot happen in Crown Court! Appeal should have been last week but they could not find a judge to hear the case. Not good when you get notice while en route from hundreds of miles away.

Other case was lost on a triviality which we should be able put to rest with the documents we have concerning multiple receipts, when it goes to crown court. This case emphasises the need to cover all bases, even the unexpected.

In another case the Bailiffs turned up. We put an argument forward based on EU law. The bailiffs informed our member that they were withdrawing and nothing further has been heard since last June.

The fourth is a similar case based on the same EU law. This one is in the early stages so we are awaiting developments.

Keep an eye on the forum to stay up to date.
