New vehicle scanner at Tunnel, both ends.

According to local French news new scanners are in place at the Tunnel.

It seems usage will be selective as it takes 5-7 minutes to scan therefore too long to scan every vehicle. All persons will have to exit the vehicle and walk through a corridor to collect the vehicle on the other side because the radiation levels are classed as dangerously high.

I can't say that I'm happy about jumping back into my car immediately after it's been nuked and I doubt there is an option to say no and have the car manually searched. It's almost enough to make me think about using the ferries again.

Don't suppose we have any nuclear scientists amongst our members?............
