New owners

Humberside has been sold to new owners http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/New-Humberside-Airport-owners-pledge-local-needs/story-16642221-detail/story.html

This could mean the budget airlines coming because when it was owned by Manchester (MAG) they blocked the budget airlines to protect Manchester business. lt'd be great to have loads more destinations and flights ... especially for me as it's only 15 mins away.  (grin)

i haven't flown for a year or 2 now due to cost,

we could get flights from liverpool-reus for less than £10 return,i.e just pay taxes, but not seen any cheap flights for a long time now,and i do miss the sunshine (cry)
