All quiet?

No recent requests for help coming through the forum or are the team still being bombed out with private requests?

Re: All quiet?

Greetings SH, it’s been too bloody long lol

you can help me if you like, I’m still waiting for my court date, so do you inundate them to push forward or wait?? Is there a timeout period for these things or could it take years??

I've sent them letters and evidence and their response is we've heard enough from you it’s up to the courts to decide, anything you send to us will be taken into account, also wondering which officer will turn up to the hearing as there was 6 involved when my goods were seized.

tried the litigation route, and most were clueless and expected me to pay them extortionate fee's for information i could get for free, one said you can only bring in 3kgs of tobacco so you it seems you were over the legal limit, I had to tell him what the what I was allowed to bring in for personal use then he said give me £800 and we can advise you further, "yeah right mate jog on "

I think every knowledgeable person on this forum who help those in the same predicament are a true god send, as there is not many people about who know such things regarding CEMA and regulations, it seems that I would have a better chance with N2D of winning my case in court rather than getting ripped off by lawyers who give out poor advice and have no clue on CEMA or civil condemnation proceedings.

Big thanks to SH who has helped me along the way, i don't know about anyone else but he seems to have this calming effect on me when i speak to him on the phone, dunno if its that yorkshire accent or just that he assures you everything is going to be okhttp://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/cute.png
.

look foward to touching base again pal

MrC

PS please direct me to the donate button as i would rather contribute to a site like this than pay greedy clueless solicitors for the privilidge.

oh and my previous offer is on the table for the hosting of anything you so desire.

I recommend pushing them asking them to hurry up. I did that and it never went to court.
Strangeley enough I was phoning them every day to ask them to hurry up in the month before the time limit was up. I also kept asking when I'd be getting the initial writ.
FOI information to show there is a 6 month limit for them to apply to court can be found here.
