UKBA/BF requesting help from other agencies such as police.

or indeed Customs from lmmigration, vice versa etc etc

UKBA/BF operations manual, where it states " … REASONS for requesting assistance should be CLEARLY stated to the officers of the other agency to allow them the opportunity to consider whether there is JUSTIFIABLE CAUSE for exercising any of their own powers".

Re: UKBA/BF requesting help from other agencies such as police.

l've been trying to get an answer from the Police Airport Liason Officer at Liverpool Airport for just under 3 weeks regarding what advice they give to passengers who want to record UKBF.
Also l asked what is their policy regarding requests for help from UKBF.

NO RESPONSE! ... despite numerous requests.

Re: UKBA/BF requesting help from other agencies such as police.

Been having a similar dispute with Prestwick airport. Had a conversation with Chief Immigration officer yesterday and got absolutely nowhere. He doesn't know the rules either. I asked him if he could comment on various matters about my illegal detention and he said that as my letter of complaint (which he had read) had been passed to the complaints department, he could not possibly offer any comment about ANY of my questions...........

I got a coffee machine response by letter this morning by some strange coincidence........

Thank you for your letter received..... BLAH BLAH. In accordance with the Border Force service standards..... BLAH BLAH, within 20 working days..... Blah Blah Blah.

Re: UKBA/BF requesting help from other agencies such as police.

I've got proof of lies with Kent police and and a made up report from the ipcc, they all piss in the same pot, aparantly a verbal apology via a third party is sufficient enough for it not be taken further.
