also ask for specifically data, copies of notebooks relatiung to this seizure.

they probably wont have anything else if you haven't been stopped before, but will most likely have a list of your travel history.

Re: kathyd373. Request for help. Moved to new thread

Looks good so far. I would make sure all the a-j questions are covered ie the questions you are supposed to be asked at interview. Also include estimate of how long the goods would last you including your present stock if you referred to them or include a usage calculator. It is critical that your calcs are accurate and credible.

4) For the purposes of determining whether excise goods referred to in the exception in paragraph (3)(b) are for P’s own use regard must be taken of—
(a)P’s reasons for having possession or control of those goods
b)whether or not P is a revenue trader
c)P’s conduct, including P’s intended use of those goods or any refusal to disclose the intended use of those goods
d)the location of those goods
e)the mode of transport used to convey those goods
f)any document or other information relating to those goods
g)the nature of those goods including the nature or condition of any package or container
h)the quantity of those goods and, in particular, whether the quantity exceeds any of the following quantities—

  • 10 litres of spirits,
  • 20 litres of intermediate products (as defined in article 17(1) of Council Directive 92/83/EEC(1)),
  • 90 litres of wine (including a maximum of 60 litres of sparkling wine)
  • 110 litres of beer,
  • 3200 cigarettes,
  • 400 cigarillos (cigars weighing no more than 3 grammes each),
  • 200 cigars,
  • 3 kilogrammes of any other tobacco products;

(i)whether P personally financed the purchase of those goods
j)any other circumstance that appears to be relevant.

Re: kathyd373. Request for help. Moved to new thread

OK a, b, are simple.
c- cooperated and answered questions as best you could
d-I n hand luggage..?..   and freely available. Not concealed
e- On foot from P&O ferry
f-Receipts were given to officer and retained by him
g-Goods were new and sealed in original manufacturer packaging.
h-The amount of goods followed by as I am allowed to purchase under eu directive 92/63/eec/1
i-How you purchased the goods with any proof of atm withdrawals or the like.
j- anything else you can add to support your claim

Personally I would put it in statement form without referring to the above letters

  • Thanks BS.
  •
  • Out of date copy! I actually meant to delete that part as there is no need for Kathy to include the guideline quantities, but I was watching England while typing http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

    Eezy.
When asking for the SAR is it possibly to ask them to disclose  if any and how much information relating to you and your stop has been redacted from the notebook copy and the amount of redactions from any other information you are being sent ?

firstly I dont think its a good idea to put your surname on the forum, if I were you I would edit your post and remove surname. ( You will find the edit at the bottom of your post)
Secondly if your bill says mr &mrs I think that will be enough to prove your address .

    Including the quote!

My personal thought is no but by all means mention it in your NOC especially if you can get medical proof should you need it later
