Delays on the m/way at Dunkirk

If you're heading to Belgium from Calais or even Dunkirk port, there is a contraflow causing delays on both sides of the motorway. Looks like they are ripping up and resurfacing the Calais bound carriageway.

Re: Delays on the m/way at Dunkirk

Nothing too major. When we passed through we came to a standstill then did 3 or 4 miles at around 30/40mph. That was on both sides. Wouldn't like to catch it in the rush hour though or when there's an accident there which we have seen on that stretch before.
Of course you could always turn off at say J62 or 63 and go down the D601, the canal road, which leads straight down to the Real XL shop.
Don't blink though or you'll be in the canal  http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

Re: Delays on the m/way at Dunkirk

When we went in May the roadworks Eastbound started at Junction 56 where we turned off for Ibis Budget. Crawled a bit prior to that.

When we left hotel next morning there were no problems rejoining autoroute eastbound to Adinkerke and no real delays on way back.
