Won my case

Just to give you guys some good news. I only came across this site a couple of days before my comdenation case at Trafford Mags, but I took heart. Anyway I won my case on my own, against 2 officers and their barrister. I will post details of the case soon.

Re: Won my case

I'm appearing as a doom monger, however, a challenge to the decision of the magistrates by the opposition is a possibility. This happened to Highlander! Credit to you though.

Any chance of details/guidance on the case mate. I have mine soon and although I have taken some great tips/advice off here and am well prepeared (I think) any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Also (general question) is it worth discussing specific cases and defence on here or will there be "lurkers" ?
Cheers in advance.

There most certainly will be lurkers, be aware that those dear people at the Home Office will read every word. That said, if you need advice on specific features of your case, other members will be able to help if you post on here.

Ultimately, the choice is yours.

Re: Won my case

Trying to get details of all the flights I have had with Ryanair over the last 12 months but of course it's like "pulling teeth". The notebook I signed (unfortunately) states I travel twice a month which is nonsense and as such I want to disprove this. Will BF have a record or does anyone know how I could get the details, as I believe if I can discredit this point I can cast doubt on another they have detailed ? Cheers in advance.

Re: Won my case

BF have admitted in the past that they get their info from the carrier and do not have records of their own.

In your case therefore a SAR to Ryanair?

Re: Won my case

What has been the payment type for the travels of yours?

Re: Won my case

if they have details of your travel history they will disclose them in court,  if they insist you travelled twice a month, ask for proof if your confident you didn't.

Re: Won my case

I tried to get records of travel with p&o,they stalled and said its impossible,so i asked how could ukbf acsess all my travel history within minites?  after a few months they provided all travel records linked to my email address at time of booking.

Re: Won my case

I travel between 8 & 10 times a year nowhere near twice a month, unfortunately Ryanair are useless when it comes to requesting details via email. I will have to phone the £1.10 per minute phone line. My payments are always by either debit or credit card. I could do with some info from the guy who started this thread for some pointers re what he was asked and how he responded.

Re: Won my case

Can't see your problem here. You should be able to extract your previous travel details from your credit/debit card statements.
