Re: Dover BF officer arrested

The Border Force officer, 36, remains in French custody.

Wonder if he is due in any magistrates courts to give evidence... more importantly I wonder if he has ever given any?  even more importantly, I wonder if any poor sod is getting those duty based penalty charges for tobacco taken by someone who is obviously not up to the mark who was trying to make himself busy while he let his mates through?

Re: Dover BF officer arrested

We actually had a case which took 2 years to get to appeal because the seizing officer was arrested.

He went before the court and then had a retrial and was finally reinstated by BF and gave evidence against our member. Our member won his appeal at Crown.
