Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

Any experienced users prepared to contribute to a discussion to educate the inexperienced amongst us?

I really would not know where to start if I went over to artificial cigs. With Brexit looming fast and the prospect of duty free quantities only allowed, many of us will be forced to make choices we would otherwise not have done.

My tobacco bill would rise to £50 per week without our foreign purchases. This is not an amount I am prepared to spend. So it's either quit or vape.

Over to you.....

Re: Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

Eezy,

Try here https://www.vapour.com/?over=true

Try the Evod 650 with Apple flavour nicotine in the 18mg strength.  If you are a heavy smoker you will find the 650 mAh battery a waste of time as it only lasts a couple of hours.  The 900mAh offered by this company isn't much better.  However you can buy the 1300mAh online, just google it and that is good for 4 hours +.

It does take a bit of getting used to.  I started with E lites continuing to smoke 20 + Marlboro a day interspersed with vaping.  E lites work out expensive though.  The Evod will cost you about £7.00 a week and that is on the basis that like me, you wake up and begin vaping immediately and other than when you are in the bath, vape all day until bedtime.

The secret to switching is to keep your current smoke and gradually build up the vaping inbetween as I set out above.  Try going for an hour, then 2 hours and so on.

I still smoke Marlboro although rarely more than 3 a day.

Many thanks JMK.

I will have a look at that but I'm sure there will be more questions

Not yet. Been a bit busy this week with a trip to Belgium and other things. Need to get my head around it soon though.
Mrs eezy is not impressed as we've seen a couple of people in cars puffing out more vape than a steam engine.
I take it those are the heavy vape versions?

Re: Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

I think that some of the vaping machines produce a lot of vapour.  The Evod produces enough for me.

Vapour are currently doing E Liquids 18mg for £0.99p with a 15% discount bringing the cost down to £0.84p.  I have bought 40 bottles which should last 80 + days.  The problem I am experiencing at the moment is that they have stopped selling 1300mah batteries.  The 900mah batteries don't seem to last long enough IMHO.  I may have a go at another machine when I get time to go into one of their shops.

Re: Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

It's still on the horizon JMK but as soon as I can clear my mind I'll do some searching unless this Brexshite falls apart and we can still shop abroad.

Re: Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

I have been using one of these now for a few months, they are decent e cigs, but i find the tank quite small and seem to be filling up more than my last e cig, thread lasted around 6 weeks but can be washed and re used, but only a £ each off ebay anyway(the threads).

Re: Vaping, E-cigs or whatever you call it.

Think I'm gonna end up going forra stock-up with Warrior in December sometime. Once Brexshit kicks-in and we can no longer get cheap bacci, we will prolly kick the habit altogether coz I just can't get on with e-cigs of any type. I was taking one to work to get around the smoking ban in company vehicles but even after nearly a year of persevering with it, as soon as I got home i used to hit the bacci pouch like there was no tomorrow !

I don't think it's the nicotine that's the problem with me, it's a, having the fag in my hand and b, the nice "kick" at the back of your throat during a drag. The e-cigs let me hold summat in my hand but none of the half-dozen I've tried give the "kick". I can't smoke taylor-mades coz I can smoke well over 60 a day to feel like I've had a cig and after a week or so, I'm constantly coughing my ring up.

Just have to see what happens I suppose ?

Warrior, I asked her if the clearomiser (tank) is the same size as the Evod and she confirmed it was (ie) 2ml so I am hoping that is correct.  I have to fill up every couple of hours as I use it a lot.

Shaky, do you mean e-cigs as in e-lites?  I gave them up as they are expensive.

These vaping machines and liquids are a fraction of the price and much better IMHO.

My problem exactly but I've only ever tried the very first ones that come out.

Tbh Johny, I've tried both and can't get on with either of them. the one I was taking to work was a vaping machine. Battery lasted all day usually and I was going through 10ml of liquid every five days. Didn't use it at the weekends.
