Oostende>via Train from Bruges>P&O Coach Transfer

Seeing as SH has put up some itineries, thought I would do the same. This one is good for those who like train travel. Get the coach transfer from Zeebrugge to Bruges which drops you outside the station. You then want a return ticket to Ostende from Bruges (currently €7.80) Trains leave about every 20 mins or so and the journey time is 15 mins. I wouldn't recommend train from Zeebrugge because looking at SNCB's timetabling pages, it's a convoluted trip between trams, trains and walking !! Although I haven't done it so I can't say 100% for sure.

When cross-border shopping, take your Statement of Truth etc and ALWAYS record the Border Force interviews and NEVER EVER sign their notebook ... Period!

And if you are fortunate to have a OAP card you get the fare discounted.

Re: Oostende>via Train from Bruges>P&O Coach Transfer

This itinary is for those who like trams.
Zeebrugge Strand Rail station closed a few years ago so no trains from Zeebrugge.
If you are organised you can book the local community bus from the docks (Belbus 36) which will take you to Blankenburg.
Or get a local taxi to tramstop €5
Using the same day ticket (Dagpas €7) catch the tram into Ostend.
Do not catch tram to De Panne / Adinkerke station it takes over 1 1/2 Hours.
If you're going to do that catch the train (change at Lichtervelde).
