IMHO, every post which is now over say 18months should be "closed" to future postings and tidied up.
I still think a flow chart of the procedure needed when your goods are taken on what to-do in order to help the forum needs doing. Purely for the new members of the forum.

I also think we need some statement of what the ideas behind where the admins are trying to-go with this forum are needed.

Any help needing tidying and backing up of threads, I don't mind helping again.

In answer to posts #5 and #6, how would you know that a UKBF officer wasn't a registered user ?

You still wouldn't be able to stop the copying.

I know of TWO on this site,

All well and true, But you have all forgotten the "Happy BF Officer" Factor.
1) Did he get out of the right side of hid bed this morning ?
2) Was the person's attitude to the initial approach ?
3) When asked when he last travelled was his answer correct ?

Just a few of the things that could trip you up on the initial approach.
For negative stops make sure you record the office and his number on tape and any reasons why he wouldn't record it in their records.

Also FOI,s have a limit on time and costs spent to achieve what your are asking. I think its no more than £65 per FOI
All FOI are through the Home Office on Whatdotheyknow,  https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/body/home_office

If you need any help let me know the words and I will submit it for you.

Right I think I may have finally got it.

I have 1 calc sheet showing savings on 1 Carton of 200 cigs as this is how we normally buy them Showing savings and how long they will last.
Then another calcs sheet showing actually amount purchased along with savings and how long they will last us.
Plus of course a trip log showing last 2 years of travel.

We allways buy the same number everytime we travel and generally only travel when the 241 are on.

Eezy, You said in another thread about the S144 cert, Here is the thread http://n2d.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=1857

Quote "The SOT in my opinion should contain a trip log and an actual calcs sheet for the purchase, or as I do, calcs for a sample quantity of the goods I buy. An officer will then have all the information he requires over say, a 12 or 24 month period to assess if the shopper is genuine." End Quote

I know I keep going on about this and the trip log. Could you please the statement above further using my examples.  EG: Smoke 40 a day, travel every 3 months and buy 3000 every time I travel.

Very grateful for your explanation.

Garry
