Speed limits changing.

I'm reliably informed by my cousin who lives in France that all 90KPH limits will revert to 80KPH from July 1st.

French 'Flics' are not like here in the UK, they tend to hide in the bushes with their radar guns.

Re: Speed limits changing.

This came into force today.

I'm told that all 90kph zones are now 80kph regardless of what the signs say. The police have stated there will be no period of grace or leeway, if you're over the limit you will be nicked.

This does not apply to dual carriageways or autoroutes with a central reservation.

Also if you are caught using a mobile it's an automatic 3 day ban.
