Travel details ... how 1 man screws Border Force up.

Had a very interesting e-mail from an 'activist' shopper. He's been buying his baccy from the EU for years and has run into the problem of how many trips he's taken according to UKBA/Border Force. So much so that he decided to screw them up. Every year he books a trip either by air or by ferry. He finds the cheapest available ... and then doesn't take it!

When he does go on a trip, he takes his works records from the council to show he never left the country on that date http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png
. I suppose you could vary this with a doctors appointment or dentist or anything where there is a record.

He says the last time he was stopped and presented his evidence,  the Customs guy didn't know what to do when this guy said he'd taken 3 previous trips and Customs said 4.

l must admit that l like his style http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

It's not that l have something to hide ... it's l have nothing l want to show you.

Or book your travel then move it forward/back 1 week, usually without added cost.

I'm pretty sure we've had that one before, where records show original booking but not amended dates. Might have been Tony's case?
